SOUTH NOVATO LIBRARY
At this new library facility in South Novato, library use jumped by 44%.
In 2016, the South Novato Library relocated to C Street off Main Gate Road in Hamilton Field. The new 6000 square foot full-service library provides inviting youth and adult spaces. The library is the anchor for this community learning center, which is located on Novato Unified School District (NUSD) property; and all services are provided in partnership with this innovative school district. The private partner is New Media Learning, a 501(c)(3), which manages and operates the maker and media space where youth and families make, tinker, play, create, test, and enjoy new technologies. The program also has a Computer Clubhouse for youth.
In addition to these engaging community learning opportunities, the NUSD provides a space to test and design a collaborative, 21st-century learning space for teachers, students, and the community.
